In commercial real estate transactions, it helps to know who is representing your interests as a tenant. Traditional "full-service" commercial real estate firms provide services to both landlords and tenants. That means they may be facilitating a lease for a tenant in a landlord's building while at the same time listing that property for lease or sale, providing management services to that landlord, or even procuring financing for that landlord.
